Arsenal's striker Gabriel Jesus talked about Arsenal's title dream, saying it is not over until it is mathematically over.

“Impossible, no. Mathematically, it’s not over," he said.

The Brazilian striker also talked about how he learned the never give up mentality at the North London club.

"When I arrived at this club, that’s what I learned. Don’t give up, always try. We still have chances, but it’s obvious that it became very difficult. But we’ll fight until the end," he added.

"We know about our season. The club, the fans. Obviously, many will talk and comment. When you’re good, everyone wants to talk and show up. Everyone wants to show up when you’re good. When things happen like you don’t want, then the opportunists appear," the 26-year-old said while analysing Arsenal's season.

Jesus emphasised how difficult it is to compete in the Premier League (PL) as one little slip is all it takes for everything to get ruined.

“But we know that we need to look at our side. It’s not easy to play in this competition. We had everything to win the Premier League. Unfortunately, due to some games that we did badly, we ended up losing points we couldn’t. And we got to this situation," Gabriel said.

“If you look at the season, it wasn’t disappointing. The season was very good. We are not here to compete for second place, but for first place," he continued.

The Arsenal number nine insisted that his team need to learn from the mistakes they committed this season.

“However, we have to learn from this situation to take it to the next seasons,” he concluded.

It must be noted Arsenal suffered a major blow in their Premier League (PL) title race as they lost to Brighton today (May 14) with a scoreline of 0-3 at the Emirates Stadium.

The Gunners are now four points behind the league leaders Manchester City having played one more game.

Arsenal who were once leading the Premier League table, dropped nine points in four games in the month of April.

The Gunners had an eight-point lead by the end of match week 29, since then they only managed to win just two out of six matches which put a dent in their title dream.
